The Jefferson River Chapter of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation hosted a paddle day and clean-up of the Jefferson River Canoe Trail on Saturday, May 1. The Jefferson River Chapter teamed up with students from Green University to clean up the "Jefferson River Contraption," a makeshift boat consisting of ten 55-gallon drums welded together, which crashed on the shore and was abandoned a couple years ago.
