  • Norman enters not guilty pleas

    Twenty-four-year-old Zachary Norman of Three Forks pleaded not guilty on February 16 in Gallatin County District Court to two counts of deliberate homicide and an additional two counts of fabricating evidence. Norman has been charged in the January 15 shooting deaths of brothers Brendan Estabrook and Chase Estabrook in Three Forks. At the hearing last week, District Court Judge John Brown upheld the $1 million bail set on January 18 in Gallatin County Justice Court.   • Education Foundation Fundraiser set for March 8

    The Three Forks Education Foundation will host its annual dinner and auction fundraiser at 6 p.m. on March 8 in the school cafeteria. Tickets for this event are available for pre-purchase at the school office and the event. One plate costs $15; meanwhile, a Family pass costs $50. The foundation will enter all guests in a $50 door prize raffle awarded at the end of the event.     The Three Forks School Board hosted their monthly meeting on the evening of Feb. 15. Though their conversation was short and to the point, the board discussed plenty of information.   • Kitchen crew announces changes due to construction

    Dear Three Forks School and Community: As you may have noticed the school has been having some construction done to grow and update. Starting the week of Monday March 17, 2022 the contractors will be begin their work on the kitchen and cafeteria. This will be changing our breakfast and lunches some until the end of the school year. With that being said, we wanted to let everyone know about the changes that will be happening.     Things would be easier in the winter if people drove appropriately for the conditions. As much as I hope this happens, there will always be people driving out of control and endangering not only their lives but those they are sharing a road with. While there most likely always be a few people driving too fast on ice and snow, one thing that never needs to happen is speeding in a school zone.
