    The Three Forks School District will soon have a new Superintendent. According to Elementary School Principal Steve Fanning, Rhonda Uthlaut was offered the job Monday, and she accepted. The School Board must officially approve at a special meeting March 4. Uthlaut will take over for current Superintendent Jeff Elliott, whose last day on the job is June 30.   • Three Forks Airport receives funding

    The Three Forks Airport will receive $13,000 in grant funding to keep up with costs and continue projects amid the Covid-19 project. The funding is part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act that was signed into law in late December of last year. The grants are provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program to provide economic relief to airports across the United States.     There is a vacancy on the Three Forks City Council. Town officials announced last week the immediate resignation of Erin Schattauer. The appointment of the vacancy is planned for March 23 at 7 p.m. The deadline to file is March 18.     Local business owner Reid Olinger is always thinking of ways to give back to the community. A recent conversation at an auto parts store set in motion a donation for the Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department. The co-owner of KO Concrete Coatings, a company specializing in floor coatings using polymer products, Olinger ended up having a conversation with a member of the fire department about their floor.     The February 17 issue of the Voice included an article from the City of Three Forks officials thanking those who donated $156,760 to five projects in 2020. A large portion of the donations was for the new bleachers at the rodeo grounds.     It was a phenomenal weekend of results at the Southern B/C Divisional Tournament for the Three Forks High School Wrestling team. The Wolves qualified a total of six wrestlers for this week's state tournament in Shelby and had two individual champions. Three Forks finished 10th out of 24 teams.
