    The Three Forks area could soon be home to a new Montana Department of Transportation Rest Area. The Bozeman Rest Area Replacement Project may lead to a new facility at the Interstate 90 Exit 274 in Broadwater County. According to MDT Butte District Administrator William Fogarty, the two current proposed locations are on the westside of U.S. HWY 287, including one south of Town Pump.     An official groundbreaking is on the way for the Three Forks School District Addition and Renovation Project. Andy Becker, Project Manager for Hulteng CCM, reported at last week's school board meeting that they are through the project's design process, and construction documents were completed right on schedule.   • Headwaters Trail System Receives Grant

    There was some amazing news last week for the Headwaters Trail System. The Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) announced the local trail system was one of 11 trail projects that is a recipient of its 2021 Trail Grants Program.
