    Local voters Tuesday denied two general fund levies for the Three Forks School District. In unofficial results from the Gallatin County Elections Department, the $241,650 high school district levy was defeated 546 to 340. The $398,350 elementary district levy was defeated 546 to 347. The mill levies would have funded increasing costs related to health insurance, property liability insurance, utilities, technology, maintenance, and salaries.     HELENA – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is taking a new approach to the fishing regulations review and development process. The new process will be simpler and allow the department to be more responsive to public input and resource needs.     The Three Forks High School tennis team was impressive, winning seven of 11 matches in action against Jefferson High School last week. Head Coach Janna Lauver said the team played really hard through some exhaustion and soreness achieved after hard work the prior week.     STAFF REPORT It was a phenomenal performance last Saturday with numerous personal bests for the Three Forks High School girls track and field team. The Wolves finished fifth overall in a loaded field that included one Class AA and numerous Class A Schools. Three Forks had the top finish among the Class B Schools. Jasmyn Murphy continued her impressive senior season finishing second in the 200 with a personal record of 27.19. She was also second in the long jump at 16-06.50.     Gallatin County officials were notified that avian influenza A (H5N1) was detected in a flock of domestic poultry located in rural Gallatin County. The site was identified late last week near Manhattan/Belgrade.
