    The Three Forks Rodeo will happen in 2020 – just a little bit later than originally planned. The Three Forks City Council voted last week to postpone the annual rodeo from July 17 and 18 to August 28 and 29 due to concerns with the timeline for Phase 3 in the state of Montana.   • Multiple Fires Reported in Southwest Montana

    It was a busy weekend for firefighters in Southwest Montana. Firefighters from across the area responded to the Lump Gulch Fire in north Jefferson County near Sheep Mountain, the Sappington Fire east of Lewis and Clark Caverns, and two fires in the Clarkston Area. LUMP GULCH On Saturday, June 13 a fire ignited in Lump Gulch in northern Jefferson County near Sheep Mountain.   • Library extends hours, ups patron limit

    There was some positive news last week for patrons of the Three Forks Community Library. Librarian Fawn Venzor announced last Friday at the regular hours will now be Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a 30-minute window for each visit and the occupancy limit has been increased to 10 patrons at a time.
