    Three Forks High School students shined brightly at the recent Family, Career and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Anaheim. During the conference, the Three Forks FCCLA Chapter was recognized with the 2019 National Chapter Public Relations Award.     Participants from across Southwest Montana will be making their way to Three Forks Saturday, July 27 for the 15th annual Headwaters Bank Walk/Run. Registration is scheduled to start at 6:30 a.m. at Veteran's Park with the Half Marathon scheduled for 7:30 a.m., and the 10k/5k starting at 8 a.m. The origin of the race dates back to 2005 and was started by the Three Forks Lions Club. Former Montana State standout tight end Connor Sullivan was recently hired as the new head coach for the squad. He will replace former coach Matthew Bakken who resigned in May.     Betty Josaline Conner, age 95, of Three Forks, Montana passed away Tuesday evening, July 9, 2019. Betty Josaline Conner was born June 14, 1924 to Noah William Bennett and Lydia Ann Dale Bennett in Maudlow Montana. Betty was the youngest of 13 children (9 sisters and 4 brothers) and the twin sister of Theodore (Ted) Bennett. Betty was the last living sibling of 13 children.
