    Three Forks students will be returning to school on August 26. The School Board of Trustees voted Monday to approve the recommendations from the administration to come back five days a week with an early release on Friday's at 11:10 a.m. The plan also allows for district students to attend school through the distance-learning program Acellus. Steve Bullock issued a directive Thursday giving Montana counties the option of shifting to all-mail ballots for the November general election as they did for the June primary, saying the order gives local election authorities a way to prevent COVID-19 from spreading among election-day crowds at polling places.     Several rivers in southwest Montana will close to fishing during the afternoon each day due to a seasonal rise in water temperatures. "Hoot-owl" restrictions prohibit fishing during the hottest times of the day.     Montana State Parks announces adjusted hours of operation and cavern tours at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park, beginning Aug. 20, as the season begins to wind down. As of Aug. 20, the visitor centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, with Paradise Tours every hour from 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Tours will continue to be limited and offered by reservation only.     Donald Elwood Jones, 92, passed away on August 5, 2020 at Madison Valley Medical Center in Ennis, MT as a result of a stroke following a long and active life. Donald was born in Billings, MT on May 19, 1928 to Lloyd Lewis Jones and Marion Dorthea (Banderob) Jones. Don was later joined by two siblings, sister Dorothea (Dorothy) and brother Clifford (Cliff).     Darlene Marie Ansley (Akers) was peacefully taken to the Lord on July 27, 2020. She was born to Cecil and Ida Akers on December 31, 1936 in Optima, Oklahoma. She married Charles Ansley on March 23, 1958. Charles and Darlene began their married life in McCoy, Colorado, for a short time before moving to Montana.
