    The City of Three Forks Arsenic Treatment Plants improvements have been approved by the Department of Environmental Quality. In early 2019, it was discovered that arsenic was breaking through the media on well #2 and it was shut down due to MCL exceedance for arsenic. In response, the City put together a team to replace filtration media, a flow meter, turbidity analyzer, chemical feed pumps, and controls.     A fundraiser next week will be a pivotal evening for the Three Forks Area Ambulance Service. The EMS BASH Fundraiser is scheduled to take place Saturday, October 19 at the Sacajawea Bar starting at 7 p.m. and will feature music from www.Twang and both a live and silent auction.     It was an amazing day of racing in front of a home crowd last Saturday for the Three Forks High School and Middle School cross country teams. According to head coach Tara Forsberg, the 2019 Headwaters Invitational went really well and they had some amazing volunteers that made it that way.     Troy Thomas Denman, 55, of Bozeman passed away September 30, 2019 in Billings. Troy was born July 1, 1964 in Downey, California to Tom and Dixie (Murphy) Denman. He thoroughly enjoyed his time living in California, particularly the beaches there. He lived in Oregon for a short time before returning to California and then moving to Montana, which he truly loved.
