  • 'Misuse' prompts shooting restrictions on State Land Trusts

  • Council receives request from Magris Talc, hears Rest Home Tax presentation

    During its Oct. 11 meeting, the Three Forks City Council was approached via a letter by Magris Talc requesting assistance with a federal grant application that would improve the safety of the pedestrian crossing on the Montana Rail Links track near Bench Road and Old Yellowstone Trail.   • Gallatin County Mails over 62,000 Absentee Ballots

    On the morning Friday, Oct. 14, the Gallatin County Elections Office is mailing out over 62,000 absentee ballots for the 2022 federal general election on Nov. 8. Voters who are registered to receive their ballots absentee should start seeing them arrive in their mailboxes in the coming days.     Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks staff in Bozeman will be available to help youth hunters learn how to sample their harvested deer for chronic wasting disease at the conclusion of Montana's two-day youth deer hunt.
