On March 9, 1974, the Three Forks High School Boys’ Basketball team picked up the first state title in program history with a historic 58-51 victory over Terry. In a December battle between the two best 120-pound wrestlers in the state, Three Forks senior Cole Rogers lost a dramatic match 6-4 in sudden victory to Chris Grossman of Billings Skyview in the finals of the CMR Classic in Great Falls. Flash forward to January 13 at the finals of the 65th annual Cowboy Classic Invitational in Miles City, Rogers was not only able to avenge his loss with a thrilling 4-2 sudden victory over Grossman, but the win was also the 100th of his high school career.... There was fantastic news on Christmas Day for the Three Forks High School Football team, with two Wolves senior standouts selected to play in the prestigious Montana East-West Shrine Game scheduled for June 15, 2024, in Billings.
