The Missouri Headwaters State Park in Three Forks is a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
A proposed bill in the Montana State Legislature would remove the park from the Primitive Parks Act which would allow for upgrades and be a boon for the site utilized by so many.
Senate Bill 70 would allow the state park to provide better connectivity to the trail system, the paving of campground access sites, electrical services options for individual campsites, and bike-in/canoe campsites.
