Gallatin Valley Outlaw Connor Johnson gets ready to swing at last year's state tournament. The Outlaws are hosting a clinic May 4.

The Gallatin Valley Outlaws American Legion baseball team will be hosting a clinic Saturday, May 4 at Imery's Field.

The Outlaw Day Youth Baseball Clinic is open to players from T-ball to age 15. Instruction will be provided by coaches and players from the Gallatin Valley Outlaws and Posse.

The clinic is scheduled from 9 a.m. to Noon at the field located at 1800 Bench Road in Three Forks. The clinic was originally scheduled for April 13, but was postponed due to weather.

In his final year with the Outlaws, Connor Johnson said it means a lot as a senior being able to help the younger kids out and give back to the community.

"This clinic we put on for the younger kids is a clinic I went to when I was younger and thought it was the coolest thing ever being able do drills and hit with outlaw players. This clinic made me realize that baseball was something I wanted to take seriously and fell in love with it. This clinic helps the younger kids get ready for their seasons and get help from kids with experience," he said.
