Museum opening Saturday, June 1


The Headwaters Heritage Museum opens for the season June 1.

The Headwaters Heritage Museum will open for the season June 1.

The season for the museum located at 202 S. Main will run until September 30 and hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Museum Curator Cheryl Lehr said they will have a couple of new displays in 2019, one dealing with changes in lives over the years from the 1800's to now.

A second new display will feature items from Willow Creek, including a postnet pot.

"Not sure what it is? Come in and find out," Lehr said.

The museum will also have some stereopticon pictures of World War I...
