Deadline to file June 17

Three Forks residents interested in running for Mayor or Council must file with Gallatin County prior to June 17 at 5 p.m.

The City Council has three seats that will expire on December 31 and the unexpired term of the Mayor is also open. Current Mayor Steve Hamilton resigned from his position in May. The new Mayor appointed June 25 is subject to nomination and election at the next municipal general election scheduled for November 5, 2019.
