At last week's City Council meeting the governing body voted to appoint Sean Gifford as the new Mayor of Three Forks.
Prior to the vote, the council allowed the three candidates who were seeking the position to not only discuss why they were interested in the position, but to also discuss what their role would be as the Mayor of Three Forks. This was followed by questions from the council and public. After a 3-3 vote, the governing body allowed more time for questions and let the public speak about the candidates before they voted 4-2 to appoint Gifford.
It was really great to see the way...
