Library hosting 'books' raffle

December 4, 2019

A "40 Book, 18 Animal Winnie the Pooh Collection" is part of an ongoing raffle at the Three Forks Community Library.

An ongoing raffle at the Three Forks Community Library is raising money for adult and children's programs.

"The Christmas Books" raffle will take place until December 20 and will feature six-book choices for local residents.

Tickets are $1 or 12 for $10 and the six choices to choose from are "Harry Potter the Complete Series", "40 Books, 18 Animals Winnie the Pooh Collection, 28 'Just Ask' Weekly Reader books, a 78 book Louis L'Amour leatherette collection, eight Craig Johnson books and a two-book, two mp3 Rachel Hollis collection.

Librarian Fawn Venzor wanted to think outside of the box for a way to raise money for programs. She said a recent gnome class has been very popular and has plans for a dart/hunting class for men early next year.

She sees the programing for adults as well as children as a way to get more people into the library.

The drawing for raffles is scheduled to take place December 20 at Noon.
