Wolves battle back to defeat Herders

For the third consecutive season the Three Forks High School boys basketball team is headed to the finals of the 5B District Tournament. The top-seeded Wolves (16-3) overcame a five-point halftime deficit to defeat Big Timber 67-56 Friday afternoon in the semifinals and will move on to the final Saturday against second-seeded Manhattan. The tip-off Saturday night is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Belgrade Events Center.

It was a slow start for the Wolves who trailed 11-8 at the end of a first quarter and 21-16 at half led by Micaiah Hauser who had 12 going into the break.
