Ballots mailed for primary election

Ballots for the 2020 Primary Election were mailed Friday to all active voters in Gallatin County. As a response to COVID-19 concerns, this year's primary is an all-mail election.

Ballots must be received no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 2, in order to be counted. Postmarks cannot be accepted.

No polls will be open for this election. However, election officials will be collecting ballots on Election Day in the parking lot of the usual polling locations.

Voters are asked to seal their envelopes with tape rather than saliva.
