The Summer Speaker Series at the Headwaters State Park starts next week.
The Summer Speaker Series will start later this week at the Missouri Headwaters State Park.On Saturday June 27th beginning at 7:00 p.m., the park will be hosting the Saturday night Summer Speaker Series with speaker, Mirandi Bakken.
The theme this year is "Protecting our Natural Resources." Mirandi Bakken's topic will be Heritage: A Resource to Protect. Mirandi will discuss details from an archaeological field school she attended in Greenland, noting the role of archaeology, education, preservation, and land stewardship when it comes to learning about different heritages.
