While the Three Forks High School volleyball team may have lost their only match last week 25-10, 25-11, 25-14 on the road at Jefferson, Head Coach Tracy Welter saw plenty of positives from the first foray into 5B District Play.

"I saw a lot of good things last week. We made some adjustments and the kids did a very good job adapting. Our defense and serve receive continue to be our strong area," she said.

Addie Pestel had 16 digs and 2 aces against the Panthers and Natalie Pestel added four kills.

The Lady Wolves will return home this week for a rivalry match September 10 against Manhattan with "C" action beginning at 4 p.m.

"We will be definitely focusing this week on our offense. We have got to get more kills than we have been getting," Welter said.
