A "Winter Read" book raffle is underway at the Three Forks Community Library.

According to Librarian Fawn Venzor, there are currently 25 books up for raffle and most of them are from either 2019 or 2020, with many of them in the science fiction genre.
Venzor said patrons can come in and purchase a ticket and put it in a corresponding jar next to the book they would like to win. The drawing is scheduled for March 1 and after just a few days into the raffle, Venzor reported quite a few tickets had already been sold.
The cost for tickets is 3 for $1. The money will be used for programs at the library.
The library will also be taking part in the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce Chocolate Crawl scheduled until February 13. Those who purchase a raffle ticket will be given a Bequet caramel that were donated by a library board member.
