Roots Hair Studio 'busy as ever' after six-week Covid-19 closure

Roots Hair Studio in Three Forks was closed for nearly six-weeks last year due to statewide directives issued by former Montana Governor Steve Bullock.

Owner Miranda Roberts said once they were able to reopen, they had quite a few sanitation guidelines to follow but was more than happy to comply so she could get back to work.

Once Bullock lifted Phase 1 Guidelines, Peterson felt they were busy as ever, if not busier.

"We live in a phenomenal community and are so appreciative of all the support from each and every client we have," she said.

The studio located at 214 S. Main was also very busy during the holiday season in November and December.

"People love to look their best for gatherings even though this year was a bit different in those regards due to Covid we still had amazing support," she said.

Roots Hair Studio provides hair care for men, women, and children. This includes haircuts, hair color, conditioning hair treatments, smoothing treatments for curly hair, hair extensions, facial waxing, and special event hairstyles. The business also has a women's clothing boutique.

Peterson, who has been a resident of Three Forks for two years and has owned Roots for a year and half, feels very blessed and humbled by the support of what she called an amazing community.

"I cannot imagine owning a business anywhere else while dealing with this pandemic and uncertain times. Thank you to all of our clients. We truly appreciate each and every one of you," she said.
