Shorthanded Wolves still excel at Manhattan Invite

While the entire team was unable to compete, Three Forks High School Track and Field Coach Tracy Welter was happy with those who made the trip to last week’s Manhattan Invitational in Belgrade.

“We had several athletes that are either nursing injuries or left early for prom. I thought the ones that competed did a fantastic job,” she said.

Owen Long had another big day finishing first in the high jump and fourth in the pole vault. Jacob Buchignani had a personal record and second place in the 400, was fifth in the long jump and finished seventh in the 100 and 200.
