Health Board keeps in force rule, discusses HB 257

The Gallatin-City Board of Health voted last week to keep in force the current face covering rule until it expires, while also publicly discussing the recently passed HB 257 which will limit the authority of local governments.
The face mask rule remains in force until May 27.
According to a release from the department, HB 257 will prevent enforcement of the rule by the Health Department or any local government agency once that legislation is signed into law.
