Three Forks Tennis Wraps up Regular Season

The Three Forks High School tennis team will open the postseason this week when they host the Divisional Tournament scheduled for May 14 and 15 in Belgrade.

Last week, the Wolves traveled to Boulder Tuesday for a dual against Jefferson High School and to Big Sky Friday for matches against Lone Peak High School.

Macie Jensen won a tightly contested 7-5, 6-7 10-6 (tiebreak) match over Morgan Knickerbocker in Boulder.

Chaylee Wester also won a tough match with a 3-6, 7-5, 12-10 (tiebreaker) win over Joelle Quigley. In yet another back-and-forth match, Maddie Griffiths picked up a 7-6, 4-6, 10-5 win over Macee Murollo. Shay Kirwin was also victorious with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Aiyden Springfield. Sophie Meskiman had another victory for Three Forks with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Shayna Williams.

In doubles action, Kinzee Howey and Katie Hayden defeated Shayna Williams and Aiyden Springfield 6-4, 6-2. Ruby Warden and Alicia Deriana picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win over Macee Murollo and Joelle Quigley.

In Lone Peak, Howey and Hayder picked up two doubles victories. The first a 7-5, 7-5 win over Hannah Dresibach and Ivy Hicks, and the second a 6-3, 6-2 win over Avery Dickerson and Ruth Blodgett.
