Fireworks sales start June 24

Fireworks sales in Three Forks will be permitted by state statute starting Thursday, June 24, and will run until Monday, July 5.

Fireworks are legal in Three Forks City limits July 3 from 6 p.m. to midnight and July 4 from 10 a.m. to midnight; however, this is contingent upon fire conditions and the recommendation from the Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department Command Team.

It is illegal to sell Fireworks within 300 feet of any church or hospital and may not be set off within 100 feet of any fireworks sales place. A "NO SMOKING" sign must be posted at all sales locations. Fireworks may no...
