The connection of the Headwaters Trail System from Jefferson Street to the area near hole number four of the Headwaters Golf Course will not be going through Three Forks School district property.
During a special school board meeting earlier this month, the Headwaters Trail System approached the governing body with a proposal regarding an application for a connection of the trail going through district property. Headwaters Trail System Chair Gene Townsend withdrew the request after hearing concerns from the board, superintendent, and community members.
