Three Forks golf returns experienced squad

Three Forks High School Golf Head Coach Aaron Harkins is thrilled with how many student-athletes joined the team for the 2022 season.

"We had an unbelievable turnout this year with a current count of 46 kids out for the golf team. Awesome to see such large numbers and excited that kids are interested in the game of golf," Harkins said.

With a few weeks of practice under their belts, Harkins feels things have been going good, and they are looking forward to getting on the Headwaters Course when the tarps come off the greens.

"Just trying to knock off some cobwebs from our clubs and get back in the groove," he said.

It will be an extremely talented and experienced girl's team for Three Forks. Harkins said they have every single varsity player returning from last year's Divisional championship team.

"We are looking to defend our Divisional championship and hopefully earn a spot in the state tournament," he said.

The players on the girl's team are Taylor Raffety, Halee Wilson, Brooklynn Hossfeld, Lydia Kluin, and Ari Judd.

Harkins said on the boy's side, the team will return all but one varsity player from last year. The varsity boys returning are Austin Allen, Walker Page, Morgan Karn, Dylan Kamps, and Rhett Violett. Harkins added that they have some great new additions as well.

The team opened the season on March 28 at Helena. Results were not available at the press deadline.
