Column: Trash Roulette

While the Voice hits newsstands on Wednesday, the paper is usually about 95 percent done by noon on Monday, so I generally start getting things together on Tuesday for the next edition. I generally like to have a column that is something lighthearted and can hopefully make a few people laugh or smile.

This week I was having a rough time trying to think of something to write about, but the idea came to me when I was throwing away a morning protein shake in the kitchen trash can.
