Letter: Former Mayor supports Hamilton

I am writing as both a former Mayor of the Town of Manhattan and also a member of the Police Commission. I have had the opportunity to know Rocky Hamilton, who is running for Representative of House District 69, for several years. He gained a lot of leadership experience on the Police Force and was promoted to Sergeant of the Manhattan Police Department. He is the type of person we need in the Legislature. He would have some dialog with those on both sides of the aisle and gain a consensus.
