SIM-MT partners with Three Forks Ambulance Staff to provide PHTLS training

Simulation in Motion Montana (SIM-MT) is partnering with Three Forks Ambulance Staff to provide cutting-edge PHTLS (prehospital trauma life support) training to local EMS providers. The collaboration aims to enhance the skills and expertise of local emergency responders in providing efficient and effective care to residents.

On May 5th, SIM-MT specialists will bring their state-of-the-art mobile simulation lab to Three Forks to provide immersive, hands-on training to local EMS providers. The lab is equipped with high-fidelity manikins, the latest medical technologies, and training scenarios that replicate real-life emergency situations. The goal is to provide the providers with continuing healthcare education that will help them stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards.

This training will help local providers to be better equipped to handle any emergency situation and provide the best possible care to our community.

The training will cover a range of topics, including trauma patient assessment, airway management, and shock management. The simulation scenarios are designed to challenge the EMS providers and help them develop critical thinking skills to make quick and effective decisions in high-pressure situations.

"We are thrilled to bring our mobile simulation lab to Three Forks and work with their dedicated EMS providers," said Sara Kaull, Executive Director of SIM-MT. "Our goal is to provide the most realistic training experience possible so that the providers are equipped to handle any emergency and provide the best possible care to their community."
