The Three Forks City Council will host a public hearing April 23 on a resolution establishing fees for "park user groups".
In September of 2018, the City Council established Title 8, Chapter 6 to define park lands within the City and impose reasonable time, place, and conduct controls for events and uses. The Council defined a rental fee for facilities in Resolution 289-2018 but did not discuss "user groups" at that time.
According to City Clerk Crystal Turner, when Resolution 289-2018 was adopted, this took all fees defined in ordinances, and from ordinances that state, "shall be charged...
