Non-resident applications due June 15

The Three Forks School District is reminding parents about their Out of District Policy.

According to officials, the district is growing and with that growth, they must follow and enforce district policies that are in place.

Three Forks District Policy 3141 states "Every nonresident student who attends Three Forks Schools must apply in writing, for admission for the succeeding school year by June 15th. Admission in one school year does not infer or guarantee admission in subsequent years."

In a letter to the parents of out of district students, Superintendent Jeff Elliott said moving forward they will be adhering strictly to this policy due to our constant growth and lack of space in their building.

"In no way does this imply that you won't be allowed to enroll, but we do have to follow school board policy," he said.

Students must have an out of district application submitted to the business office no later than June 15, 2019.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the schools at 285-3224.
