Lady Wolves take down Ennis

In their lone action of the week, the Three Forks Lady Wolves volleyball dug deep to pick up a five set over the visiting Ennis Lady Mustangs.

After splitting the first four sets (25-23, 17-25, 28-26, 25-27), Three Forks would save their best for last and win the fifth set 15-7.

"I was so happy with the ladies," said head coach Tracy Welter. We had a new rotation this week with new positions. Macey Combs moved from Libero to setter/hitter. I was so proud of the way she handled the change in the lineup."

Combs had a huge night with 15 assists, nine digs, five kills and a block. Erin Welter had a well-rounded night for the Lady Wolves with 10 digs, nine kills, and three aces. McKenzie Feddes had a team high 29 digs, Kirsten Klompien had nine blocks and a team high four aces, Savannah Jensen had 12 assists, Breanna Bloch had six kills, and Peyton Page had five digs and five assists.

"The ladies never gave up and worked so hard tonight. It truly was a total team effort and I'm so proud of all these athletes," Welter said.

Three Forks will next be in action September 19 at Townsend.
