The Three Forks High School volleyball team bounced back from a conference road loss Thursday to Jefferson with an impressive Saturday homecoming win over Whitehall.

The Lady Wolves started strong and never let of the gas pedal in the 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 sweep over the visiting Lady Trojans.

"We really needed that win. We have a tough first half of the season schedule and that win was a big one. I was very pleased with how we bounced back and competed on Saturday. All pistons were firing, and I think we are getting comfortable with our newest rotation," said head coach Tracy Welter.

Kirsten Klompien led the team with 10 assists, McKenzie Feddes had a team high nine digs, and Erin Welter added eight kills. Payton Page and Klompien each had three aces.

Three Forks will next play Thursday at Manhattan and will play Saturday at a Tournament in Boulder.

"The second half of the season I want to continue to see us clean up and sharpen the little things. Once we can do that, we will be able to compete with anyone," Welter said.
