The 2020 Three Forks NRA Rodeo has been canceled.
The Three Forks City Council voted unanimously last week to cancel the event that had been rescheduled from its original date in July to August 28 and 29.
The council voted in June to postpone the event till August and would host the rodeo provided the State of Montana was in Phase 3 of reopening.
Prior to the vote, council members Dennis Nelson, Steve Dahl, Gene Townsend, George Chancellor, and Erin Schattauer all said they were against moving forward with the rodeo.
