Baseball, softball leagues hoping to utilize district land

The Three Forks Baseball and Softball leagues are hoping to utilize School District land near the bus barn to build three new fields.

At this month's regular school board meeting, Three Forks Baseball President Mat Marx discussed using the acreage for a senior baseball field, and two new softball fields.

"Our biggest concern is as the community grows, we are running out of field space," he said.

This season, Marx told the board their senior league "blew up" and they literally had to cut kids because they did not have enough field space, adding softball also had a huge increase of around 15...
