Chamber Hosting Chocolate Crawl

Event Scheduled For February 8 to 13

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Chocolate Crawl at numerous downtown businesses.

The new event is scheduled to take place from February 8 to 13 during participant's business hours.

For those unfamiliar with a Chocolate Crawl, participating businesses will have samples of different kinds of chocolates available, and will also serve as a chance to attract additional customers to locations throughout Three Forks.

"It is a chance for local businesses to attract new customers and the chance for customers to satisfy their sweet tooth," said Chamber Director Melissa Jenkins.

According to Jenkins, former director Leandra Hill came across the idea and thought it would be a great way to promote the businesses in Three Forks.

"Together Leandra and I morphed the crawl into what we thought would best suit our members and promote the businesses in Three Forks. Maybe residents will stumble upon a business they never knew about and encourage them to shop local. We have to support one another, especially right now. The pandemic has affected so many people and businesses in so many ways. We need to keep this money in our community and support our members," she said.

So far participating businesses include Plaza Bar, Chiropractic Clinic of Three Forks, JaMocha Junction, Legacy Trading, Be Lazy Quilting, Roots, Rusty Bucket, Main Street Office, Iron Horse Cafe & Pie Shop, Seiler's Hardware, Three Forks Saddlery, The Black Pearl Nail Spa, Book Therapy and Moore, Headwaters Community Arts Institute, Manhattan Bank, Three Forks Community Library, Three Forks Voice and Three Forks Floral. Jenkins added the Three Fork Chamber will also be open for residents to visit during the Crawl on Thursday, February 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 617 S. Main #1.

The event will also include raffles, open houses, sales, dinner specials, and drink specials. Madison River Equine Performance Center will also be hosting horse and carriage rides on February 12 and 13 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

"The Chamber is excited to be able to bring new and creative events to the local Three Forks area and promote shopping locally," Jenkins said.
