Prepping for Kindergarten Screening

Three Forks Elementary is gearing up for the 2021-2022 school year. One of the funnest parts about this preparation is kindergarten screening. The TFES team continues to evaluate the screening process and will be changing things up once again.

Screening will not take place until August 25-27. We will be reaching out to TFES families to share more information about completing paperwork, etc prior to screening. Anticipate an announcement and further instructions in April.

TFS Campus Building Project Update

Another important project milestone is quickly approaching, with subcontractor bids being due on March 31. The bid opening process will take place at the Langlas office in Bozeman.

General contractor, Langlas Construction will begin mobilizing onto the school site at the end of April, beginning of May. This process will involve some fencing going up to help prepare a site for site trailers and materials. As this process begins, TF Schools will share important safety messages with the school community.

If you are interested in learning more about the design proposals and/or the project in general please access the following link which can be found on the Three Forks School website. As updates arise in the project they will be shared during Board Meetings, the District Facebook page, as well as the District website.

 Teacher Request Process

Spring is in the air and it is once again time to start preparing for the next school year. One portion of preparing for the next school year is building class rosters.

Each year TFES has a teacher request window during the month of April. Any parent that wishes to request a specific teaching style for their child needs to do that during this request window. Requests can be submitted from April 6 to April 30.

Late requests will not be accepted. It is important for parents to understand the factors that do come into play when determining classroom rosters. All requests will be considered, however there are no guarantees.

An electronic Google Request Form will be shared on the District Facebook page as well as on the District website. Paper request forms will also be made available April 6 and can be obtained at the school office. If you have questions about this process please contact the office @ 285-6830.
