The Three Forks Area Historical Society is raising cash again! Their latest project is the restoration of the Milwaukee Railroad caboose located in the John Q. Adams Milwaukee Railroad Park at the east entrance of town. The Three Forks Chamber of Commerce uses the caboose as the Visitor Information Center.
Conductor Joe and Betty Brand donated the caboose to the Historical Society in 1992. It was moved to the park by the Montana National Guard.
A goal of trying to raise at least $35,000 has been set by the Society to help pay for the restoration. The work that will be required includes: s...
