The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office has been receiving calls from multiple residents reporting a scam involving their office. The latest scam type is an elaboration on an old one. The caller says they are from the Sheriff's Office, informs the victim that they owe the GCSO money for some reason, and tells them to get gift cards to send over the phone in order to avoid arrest.
