In a surveillance report released last Friday, health officials reported that as of January 13, there are currently 2,539 active Covid-19 cases in Gallatin County.

In a weekly press conference, Gallatin City-County Health Officer Lori Christensen said there was a 22% increase in cases from the previous week, and they are doing their best to keep up with the current demand.

"The message is we have a very high transmission and a lot of cases in our community right now," she said.
