Three Forks School Board Opens Discussion of Possible New Mill Levy

The Three Forks School Board opened discussion of passing an eventual General Operation Levy at their Jan. 18 meeting.

Talk about a new Mill Levy was brought up during Lisa Morgan’s, the District Clerk/Business Manager, report to the school board.

Morgan and District Superintendent Rhonda Uthlaut emphasized that the board is just the beginning of the conversation.

“The district is currently operating at approximately 90% of the maximum budget allowed by [the] current state funding formula,” Morgan said in a news brief. “In order to get to the max budget, voter approval is required...
