Benefit basketball games set for March 23

It will be a great time for a great cause on Wednesday, March 23, at the Three Forks High School gymnasium with benefit basketball games and a silent auction to raise money for Taylor Hauser.

The action begins at 6:00 p.m. and will feature players and alumni from Three Forks and Manhattan Christian. The cost to attend is $10, and a raffle and silent auction will also take place, with proceeds going to Hauser.

Hauser is a well-known and respected local resident, a huge supporter of the Wolves High School programs, and has spent countless hours coaching youth basketball and traveling teams. He was life-flighted to Salt Lake City after suffering a stroke earlier this month.

Taylor's brother and Three Forks High School basketball coach Terry Hauser said it is amazing to feel all the community support.

"We are truly grateful to live in a community where everyone truly cares about one another. That's what all this has showed me is the love everyone has for one another,' Terry said.

The game will feature halftime entertainment and "Pop a Shot" for $1 for a free throw and $2 for a three-pointer.

The money raised at the concessions at the benefit will benefit another well-respected local resident, Amy Rowan, and her family.
