Go Safety LLC open for business in Three Forks

A new local business will make it easier for Three Forks area residents, visitors, and businesses to get First Aid and CPR Training.

Go Safety LLC was recently opened by Ashley Montgomery, who already has classes scheduled for late April and May.

Montgomery said she is so thankful for her training during the handful of times she had to use it and is confident others feel the same and will want the training.

“As a safety professional, preventing injury and illness for workers has been my career for 20 years. It carries into my family and personal life, and it’s a very strong value for me, but after ‘retiring’ to be a stay-at-home mom in 2020, my mission kept calling me back. Training is something I did a lot in my career for my employer. Now, with Go Safety, I do training for my community,” she said.

Go Safety LLC is a licensed training provider for American Red Cross, teaching First Aid and CPR on adults, children, or infants.”

“The First Aid & CPR course gives you the skills and confidence to recognize an emergency and act - which could mean the difference between life or death for yourself or a loved one. Did you know we are most likely to give emergency care to a friend or family member?” Montgomery said.

The new Three Forks business also offers a Babysitter Skills course for youth aged 11 and up. Montgomery said this is for those who want to become great leaders and sitters, learn how to keep children safe and happy, talk with parents and adults, make responsible decisions, and handle emergencies. She added Babysitter Skills course also supports Girl Scouts of America and 4-H projects.

Go Safety LLC also will work with local businesses to provide on-site First Aid & CPR training for workers or groups of six or more. They also plan to offer additional safety training, including OSHA 10.

An Adult First Air, CPR, and AED training class is scheduled for Friday, April 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Three Forks Community Library. The cost for the course will be $50, down from the regular price of $75.

On Friday, May 27, a Babysitter Skills and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED training class is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library. The cost is $75 (usually $125) at a discounted rate.

Montgomery said lunch is part of the courses, is sponsored by Best Decks MT and provided by The Shoppe on Main Street in Three Forks.
