Commerce Launches Program to Help Montana Homeowners Impacted by Pandemic

 


The Montana Department of Commerce announced today $50 million in federal assistance funding is now available to help Montana homeowners impacted by the pandemic stay in their homes and get caught up on their mortgage and utility bills.

The funding, available through Montana Housing’s Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program, helps homeowners who have experienced a financial hardship that has worsened or incurred after January 21, 2020. A financial hardship means a reduction in income, or an increase in living expenses associated with the coronavirus pandemic that has created, or increased...
