I am writing as both a former Mayor of the Town of Manhattan and also a member of the Police Commission. I have had the opportunity to know Rocky Hamilton, who is running for Representative of House District 69, for several years. He gained a lot of leadership experience on the Police Force and was promoted to Sergeant of the Manhattan Police Department. He is the type of person we need in the Legislature.
