Great two days (April 5 and 6) in Eureka, as the golf team was able to compete for the first time this year. Both teams played well with some early season jitters coming through but perseverance paying off.

On the girl's side, the team took 2nd place with Ari Judd and Lydia Kluin taking 5th and 7th respectively. Paige Lien and Claire Van Vleet were both in the top 20 as well. On the guy's side, the team took 5th with Dylan Kamps finishing in a tie for 8th. We had quite a few younger golfers at this tournament, so it was fun seeing them in action and getting them to play some 18-hole rounds. The teams will look to improve and refine their games over the next week of practice and then hopefully we will be to participate in the Manhattan Christian invite at Cottonwood Hills in Bozeman on the 18th.

Congratulations to Lydia Kluin for being the first player to carry the David DeLaittre honor bag this year. Lydia was chosen by the coaches because she goes above and beyond at practice and is a great role model for the younger players on the team.
