The Three Forks High School Softball team picked up the first win in program history with a thrilling 10-9 walk-off victory over visiting Ennis.
Head Coach Clay Feliciano said the game was freezing, but the girls battled all seven innings to get the first win after a walk-off single.
Tied at nine going into the bottom of the seventh, Feliciano said Sierra Schall hit a fly ball to right field that went off the glove of the Ennis player, with Schall ending up at third. He said Ada Rae Thomas hit a ground ball up the middle to walk it off.
According to Feliciano, Thomas pitched a complete game with 140 pitches, 11 strikeouts, and eight walks, giving up six hits.
The Wolves had 13 hits, with Fallon Page and Thomas getting their first home runs of the season. Thomas led the team with four hits and three RBIs. Eva Parker had three hits, and Page added two. Nova Ervin, Schall, Karlie McDermott, and Ara McCauley each had one hit.
